Certification Ceremonies held at BOSCO Mane and Vatsalya Bhavan Skill Training Unit

The BOSCO Mane Computer Programme organized a certification ceremony to recognize and celebrate the successful completion of the computer training course by its students at BOSCO Mane on June 6, 2026. Certificates were distributed to 27 students who had completed the Computer Training Course conducted between March 2025 and May 2026. The programme was attended by Fr. Varghese Pallipuram, Executive Director, BOSCO; Fr. K. J. Jose, Director, BOSCO Mane; Neema Tangachan, Programme Manager; and Ms. Priya P.

Addressing the gathering, Fr. Varghese Pallipuram highlighted the importance of computer knowledge and skills in today’s world and emphasized the value of the certificates being awarded.

A second certification ceremony was held on June 12, 2026, for students who had successfully completed the Tailoring and Beautician Training Courses at BOSCO Vatsalya Bhavan. Twenty trainees who completed the Tailoring Course, and ten trainees who completed the Beautician Course were given certificates.

The programme was graced by Dr. Sneha C. V., Director of Child Protection, Karnataka; Ms. Asha H. R., DCPO, South Urban, Bengaluru; Ms. Leena Kallammanavar, DCPO, Central Urban, Bengaluru; Fr. Varghese Pallipuram, Executive Director, BOSCO; and Ms. Sheeba Thomas, Director, BOSCO Vatsalya Bhavan.

Fr. Varghese Pallipuram shared details of the various programmes and activities undertaken by BOSCO and spoke about the many children who have benefited from its interventions. While addressing the gathering, Dr. Sneha C. V. emphasized the importance of making wise decisions in life. She also conveyed her best wishes to all the trainees. Ms. Leena Kallammanavar observed that the girls appeared happy and confident, reflecting the child-friendly environment fostered by the institution. She appreciated BOSCO for its dedicated service and care towards children in need. Ms. Asha H. R. also thanked the organization for its valuable contribution to child welfare and appreciated its continued commitment to serving vulnerable children.

Five students shared their experiences at BOSCO and expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the organization for the support, guidance, and opportunities provided to them.
