Adolescent Girls’ Meeting at BOSCO Nilaya

BOSCO Nilaya, Bengaluru, organized Adolescent Girls’ Meeting at the centre on February 13, 2021. Using the smart class equipment, Priya, Project Coordinator, BOSCO CREAM Project, explained the importance understanding menstrual hygiene. Girls were motivated to maintain personal hygiene. She also explained about safe and unsafe touch. Child abuse and acts related to it were briefed. Benefits of meditation were explained. Girls were asked to cultivate habits of greetings others, respecting the elders, sharing and caring and protecting the needy. Girls were asked to set an aim and work towards reaching it. Girls used the smart class equipment to inscribe their signatures. With vote of thanks by Ms. Tanisha, Student, the class drew to a close. Eleven girls attended the meeting.
