Adolescent Girls’ Meetings Organized

BOSCO Nilaya team conducted a session on menstrual and personal hygiene for the girls of Vinobha Nagar on September 19, 2024. The team explained on safe and unsafe touch and also explained about girls’ safety. The group was shown videos on girls’ safety and menstrual cycle videos. Girls were motivated to maintain personal hygiene.  Twenty-five girls participated in the meeting.

BOSCO Nivas held a meeting with adolescents of St. Xavier’s School, Shivajinagar on September 21, 2024. The discussions included information on personal hygiene, menstrual hygiene, nutrition, ill effects of consuming alcohol and use of drugs. The girls were told the importance of drinking water frequently keeping them hydrated. Around hundred and twenty five girls attended the meeting.
