Annual Evaluation at BOSCO

The Annual Evaluation of BOSCO Bengaluru was held at BOSCO Yuvodaya, on July 5 and 6, 2021. Prashanth Murthy, HR Manager, BOSCO Bengaluru welcomed the gathering. One minute silence was observed to offer condolences to the families of our staff Mr. Manjunath, Cook, BOSCO Mane and Mr. Antony Swamy, Welding Instructor, BOSCO Sumanahalli on their demise. The new Directors, Brothers and Staff were welcomed to the BOSCO family. Fr. John MA, introduced Fr. Varghese Pallipuram and welcomed him to take the responsibility of the Executive Director. Fr. Prasad SDB, Director, BOSCO Mane and Vikas welcomed Fr. Johnson, Director, BOSCO Yuvodaya. Fr. Regi Jacob, Director, BOSCO Nilaya and Nivas welcomed Fr. Dr. Joshy, Director, BOSCO Sumanahalli. The Annual Evaluation was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by the new Directors and staff.
In his message, Fr. Varghese Pallipuram, Executive Director, BOSCO, Bengaluru, thanked the staff for the generous and dedicated efforts in the field of child care and protection even during the COVID pandemic. He said that the purpose of the meeting was to evaluate the programmes and activities of BOSCO during the last year and accordingly plan for the present year as well as prepare for the third wave of COVID-19. He spoke about management with special emphasis on Planning, Organizing, Decision Making, Implementing and Evaluating the programmes. In this process he felt that the staff, coordinators and directors become the leaders to take BOSCO forward.

The activities of twenty-six departments were evaluated on the basis of the reports presented. Major events and activities to be organized during the year were planned. The birthdays of some of the staff were celebrated on the occasion. The staff members who were newly married, were felicitated. There was a farewell programme to Ms. Mary Triza who has served the organization in various capacities for twenty-seven years. All the managing directors of BOSCO and coordinators were present for the programme.
