Awareness at BMTC Subway

An awareness programme was conducted for the public and the shopkeepers in the BMTC subway by the BOSCO outreach team working in BMTC Bus Stand on September 6, 2024. The team imparted information on runaway children, missing children, child labour, child trafficking, children into begging in and around the bus stand area. They sought the support of the public and shopkeepers in identifying such children and referring them to BOSCO by distributing pamphlets containing information on BOSCO and child helpline. Fifty-five people were reached out to through the awareness programme.
