Awareness Campaign at Shivaji Nagar

 BOSCO Nivas organized door to door and shop to shop awareness in Mackan Compound and Nehrupuram areas of Shivaji Nagar, Bengaluru on March 12 and 13, 2021. The aim of this campaign was to make the public aware of the issues of children and the dangers they face when on the streets, and how they as active citizens could assist in identifying and rescuing children. The team briefed about BOSCO and its activities with a special mention of vocational skill training programmes at BOSCO like tailoring, computer education, etc. They distributed handouts containing information on child related issues and the 24/7 toll free child help line 1098. The team was able to reach out to around six hundred people through the awareness campaign.
