Awareness for BMTC Bus Drivers and Conductors

The Outreach team present in Bus Stands organized an awareness session for the BMTC Drivers and Conductors at the platforms on January 28, 2025. The program mainly aimed at acknowledging the BMTC Drivers and Conductors for their support to BOSCO in referring the needy children and also requesting them to continue with the same support in the future also. The team explained about BOSCO and its activities, BOSCO Child Assistance Center in KSRTC and BMTC, issues related to children, and the support required in rescuing children in distress. Awareness was created on the category of ran away children, child labour, child helpline number 1098/112 and Bus Stand booth activities.

BMTC Drivers and Conductors showed good response and involved in the programme. They promised their full support to BOSCO. They also showed their trust and gratitude towards BOSCO for the services provided to the children in need of care and protection. Seven hundred and eighty pamphlets were distributed to them.
