BOSCO Foster Care Project organized awareness programmes for the Anganwadi teachers at the Anganawadi Center, Palanajogahalli, Doddaballapura, Bengaluru Rural, Panchayat Raj Institution (PRI) members at Panchayath Office, Tubagere, Doddaballapura, Bengaluru Rural and ASHA workers, Primary Health Center, Mugabala, Hosakote,Bengaluru Rural on October 18, and 21, 2024. Mr. Obalesh, Social Mobilizer, BOSCO Foster Care Project explained in detail about the foster care programme. He explained how to foster a child and the procedures involved in submitting the application to the District Child Protection Unit. He requested their support in disseminating the information in their communities and in identifying the prospective foster parents. He also distributed pamphlets on foster care to all the participants. Twenty-five Anganwadi teachers, fifteen PRI members and twenty-six ASHA workers were present in the awareness programmes.
