Awareness programme at Vivekananda School

BOSCO Child Safety Net (CSN) team organized awareness programme on Child rights, CHILDLINE and Child Protection Mechanisms at Vivekananda Kannada Primary and High school, Rajajinagar, Bengaluru on July 26, 2019.
Mr. Shaik MD Shafi, Coordinator, CSN, BOSCO Bengaluru, introduced BOSCO and its activities and explained about the need for awareness about child rights, CHILDLINE and child protection mechanisms. Mr. Devaraj, Rescue Coordinator, CSN, BOSCO Bengaluru, spoke about rights of children.
Party games were conducted for the children. A movie- “Don’t be Mum, Tell Mom” was screened. Ms. Savitha, Social Mobilizer, explained about the issues faced by girl children. Over hundred students and teachers attended the programme.
