Awareness Programme for Anganwadi Teachers and Helpers

The Outreach team working in the Gandhi Nagar area conducted an awareness programme for Anganwadi teachers and helpers at Freedom Park, Bengaluru, on February 3, 2025. The team, led by Coordinator KM Basavaraju, provided an overview of BOSCO and its services aimed at protecting children in distress. They explained in detail various topics, including child rights, child protection mechanisms, and issues related to children such as child labor, child marriage, abuse, child begging, and child trafficking. Additionally, they shared information about the child helpline numbers, 1098 and 112. A total of 250 pamphlets were distributed during the awareness programme.
