Awareness Programme for Pourakarmikas

The outreach team working in Gandhi Nagar area conducted an awareness on child rights and child protection mechanisms for the Pourakarmikas on September 12, 2024. The team comprising KM Basavaraj, Coordinator and Priyanka, Team Member enlightened the group of the child laws and Acts, issues related to children, child helpline, enrolling and re-enrolling the school dropouts. The team briefed about BOSCO and its services with a special mention of the vocational trades for the youth. They also requested the Pourakarmikas to support BOSCO in the rescue and rehabilitation of the children at risk.  The Pourakarmikas sponsored snacks for the children at Yuvodaya. Pamphlets were distributed to thirty  Pourakarmikas.
