BOSCO Life skill training centre, Sumanahalli, Bengaluru organized an awareness session about Corona Virus and the ways to prevent the spread of the virus, to the inmates of the centre on March 12, 2020. Ms. Shruthi, Coordinator, BOSCO life skill training centre, Sumanahalli explained about cleanliness and personal hygiene. She enumerated the steps to be followed to avoid the infection with the help of a video clip about the spread of the virus and the preventive measures to be taken. She explained the dos and don’ts like frequently washing hands with soap, avoiding shaking hands or touching people, coveringones mouth/nose with hand kerchief or tissue paper when s/he coughs or sneezes, avoiding touching one’s eyes, ears, nose and mouth without washing hands,eating warm and well cooked food, avoiding cold food like ice creams, and drinking warm water. Twenty youth participated in the awareness programme.
