Awareness Programmes at BMTC Bus Stand

An awareness programme was organized by the BOSCO Bus Stand team in BMTC Platforms to create awareness among BMTC drivers and conductors about the category of runaway children, child labourers, and child helpline number 1098/112 on June 22, 2024.  The Outreach Team along with Vijaya, Coordinator created awareness on child rights and how BOSCO is supporting needy children. They explained about BOSCO Assistance Center, Bus Stand protocols and activities. They sought the help of the drivers and conductors in rescuing and rehabilitating the children in need of care and protection. The team distributed pamphlets. Fifty-six drivers and conductors received information regarding child-related issues.
