The BOSCO team working at the BMTC Bus Stand organized a training session for BMTC officials to raise awareness about BOSCO’s work and services. This event took place at the BMTC Office on April 25, 2025. Mr. P.N. Basavaraj, Coordinator of the Child Safety Network (CSN), spoke about BOSCO’s activities, bus stand operations, foster care initiatives, child laws, Child Welfare Committee (CWC) procedures, and child rights. Mrs. Nayana, the District Traffic Officer (DTO) for BMTC, discussed the current situation of children. Ms. Vijaya Rakini, Coordinator for the Bus Stand, provided information about the BOSCO Child Assistance Center in KSRTC and BMTC. She reported that 498 children were rescued during the year, with 6 of these rescues being facilitated by BMTC officials. Mrs. Nayana assured that support would continue in the future. The training session was attended by Mrs. Shubha, a Traffic Inspector (TI), and forty-one BMTC officials.
