BOSCO, Bengaluru organizes Child Rights Week

BOSCO Bengaluru is organizing Child Rights Week, a week-long campaign (November 14, 2019 to November 20, 2019) aimed at making the general public, stakeholders and partners aware of child related issues, child rights, child protection mechanisms and CHILDLINE 1098.

The week-long programme consists of an inauguration of the child rights week at the working areas of BOSCO. Other activities include Public Awareness, Community Awareness, Door to Door Awareness, Stakeholders’ Awareness, Awareness in moving trains, Awareness on ‘child found begging’, child labour and child marriage, Rail Yatra, Day with Special Children, Debates, Essay Competitions, Video Presentations, Street Play, Rallies, Wall Painting, Signature Campaigns, Anti Child Trafficking Campaign, and Launch of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.

The concluding programme of Candle Light Procession on the theme ‘All Rights to All Children’ will be held on the Universal Children’s Day on November 20, 2019. Thousands of signatures gathered throughout the week-long signature campaign endorsing the theme will be submitted to the concerned authorities.
