The new centre of BOSCO Nivas, Bengaluru situated on the premises of St. Theresa’s School, was inaugurated on January 31, 2025 in the august presence of Rev. Fr. Jose Koyickal SDB, Provincial, Bangalore Province, Rev. Fr. Jayanathan, Vice President and Secretary, ABE, Rev. Fr. Martin Kumar, Chancellor and Parish Priest, St. Mary’s Basilica, Rev. Fr. Rayappa, Secretary, ABE, Fr. Varghese Pallipuram, Executive Director, and Directors of BOSCO Bengaluru.  Fr. Jose Koyickal blessed the centre by reciting the Bible verses. Fr. Jayanathan, in his keynote address, appreciated BOSCO for its unwavering commitment to the welfare of children and community people of Shivajinagar.  Fr. Martin congratulated BOSCO for starting the new centre and remembered his association with it in the past years. Fr. Rayappa and Fr. Varghese Pallipuram spoke on the occasion. Fathers on the dais were felicitated. Fr. Arogya Raj, Director, BOSCO Nivas welcomed the gathering and Mr. Shivamallu, State Coordinator, BOSCO Foster Care Programme proposed the vote of thanks. Fr. Mathew Vadakkel, Ms. Sheeba Thomas, Director, BOSCO Vatsalya Bhavan, Sisters, HMs, and Teachers of St. Theresa’s Schools and staff of BOSCO Bengaluru were present on the occasion.
