BOSCO Receives Shivakumar Swamiji Award

On the occasion of the 508th birthday celebrations of Nada Prabhu Kempegowda, Bhruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) organized an Award Ceremony to facilitate the individuals and organizations for their relentless efforts and services in various fields by honoring them on September 4, 2019 at Dr. Rajkumar Glass House, BBMP Office, Bengaluru.
On this occasion Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) honored ‘Nada Prabhu Kempegouda Award’ to hundred individuals, ‘Mahatyagi Laxmi Devi Award’ to ten women and ‘Dr. Sri Sri Sri Shivakumar Swamiji Award’ to five organizations for their services towards the society.

Shri. BS Yadiyurappa, Chief Minister, Karnataka, Shri. Ashwath Narayan, Deputy Chief Minister, Karnataka and Smt. Gangambika Mallikarjun, BBMP Mayor along with other dignitaries gave away the awards. BOSCO, Bengaluru was awarded with the ‘Paramapoojya Dr. Sri. Sri. Sri. Shivakumar Swamiji’ award’. Fr. Mathew Thomas, Executive Director, BOSCO Bengaluru, received the award on behalf of BOSCO along with staff representatives.
