Caring Community Group Meeting Organized

BOSCO team working in the Bus Stand Area, Bengaluru organized ‘Caring Community Group (CCG) Meeting’ for the members of Sadhana Mahila Sangha at BOSCO Yuvodaya on December 26, 2018. Addressing the group, Fr. Rubin Mathew, Director, Yuvodaya, BOSCO Bengaluru, explained about the current issues such as child and human trafficking, child labour, child marriages, etc. affecting children, child rights and child protection mechanisms. He spoke about the role of BOSCO in dealing with these issues and ensuring a safe environment for the children in difficult situations. He also shared about BOSCO Assistance Centre set up in KSRTC and BMTC and its services, CHILDLINE, etc. He urged the CCG members to support BOSCO in its noble cause. CCG members assured of their support in referring needy children to BOSCO Rescue Booth. Forty-nine members attended the meeting.
