Celebration of Gowri Ganesha Festival

Gowri Ganesha Festival was celebrated with pomp and grandeur in BOSCO Yuvakendra, Yuvodaya, Rainbow Home and Vatsalya Bhavan on September 7, 2024. The importance of the festival was narrated to inmates of the centres. The children were told that Lord Ganesha is the God of new beginnings, fresh starts, remover of obstacles, and a patron of learning.  Children were asked to do Ganesha idol using clay. Drawing competitions were held. Children of BOSCO Vikas were taken to the nearby Ganesha Temple. Children of BOSCO Vatsalya Bhavan and Rainbow Home decorated Gowri and performed the puja. They were provided a sumptuous meal. All the children and youths enjoyed participating in the celebrations.
