Celebration of the Indian Constitution Day

The Constitution Day also known as “National Law Day”, was celebrated on 26 November 2024 with the participation of children from BOSCO Mane and Vikas to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India. Mallikarjun, Coordinator, BOSCO Vikas enlightened the children on the Constitution of India, its importance, when it was drafted and by whom and when it was adopted. On 26 November 1949, the Constituent Assembly of India adopted the Constitution of India, which came into effect on 26 January 1950. He also spoke about Dr. BR Ambedkar, the Father of the Indian Constitution who played a pivotal role in the drafting of the constitution. Previously this day was celebrated as National Law Day. 26 November was chosen to spread the importance of the constitution and to spread thoughts and ideas of Ambedkar. Children of BOSCO Mane and Vikas participated in the celebration.
