BOSCO Bengaluru, through its Child Rights Integrated Services Project (CRISP), conducted a Child Rights Club (CRC) Awareness Program at Anjanappa Garden on March 20, 2025. The session aimed to educate children on their fundamental rights and the significance of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC). With 22 enthusiastic children (4 boys and 18 girls), along with one teacher and three staff members, the session fostered awareness and empowerment. Mr. Devaraj, CRISP Coordinator, led the session with engaging warm-up activities, followed by an informative discussion on child rights and the importance of Child Rights Clubs (CRCs). He explained the definition of a child, the eligible age group, and the process of forming CRCs to ensure children’s voices are heard and their rights protected. The session concluded on an energetic note with an action song, leaving the children inspired and aware of their rights.
