Child Rights Club Formed

CREAM, BOSCO, Bengaluru formed a Child Rights Club (CRC) at BBMP GHPS, Gandhinagar, on February 7, 2019. The programme began with welcome speech by Mr. Ganesh, Teacher In-charge of the Club. Information about child rights, child protection mechanisms and children in difficult situations were imparted. Need for the formation of CRCs, roles and responsibilities of club members and leaders were briefed. Ms. Divya was elected as the president along with Ms. Sardhya as the vice president. The CRC members were motivated to identify children in vulnerable situations. Six boys and eight girls were elected by the children as club members. Ms. Prathibha, CRC Coordinator, HDFC Project facilitated the training.
