Centre for PG Studies and Research, St. Philomena College, Puttur invited BOSCO Bengaluru for an orientation programme for their students on August 21, 2019. Johnson, Coordinator, BOSCO Railway CHILDLINE, explained to the students about BOSCO and its activities, different centers and projects at the organization. He explained in detail about CHILDLINE, Railway CHILDLINE, missing children, toll free helpline 1098, runaway children, child rights, child protection mechanisms, child welfare committee and revised JJ Act. He also discussed about the criteria for volunteering, internship and job placement in BOSCO. Twenty MSW students benefitted from the orientation programme.
