Community Awareness Programme

Special Juvenile Police Unit (SJPU) Project, BOSCO Bengaluru organized community awareness programme on ‘Free Legal Aid’ at BBMP Community Hall, Hosahalli, Vijayanagar, Bengaluru on February 3, 2021. Mr. Basavaraju PN, Coordinator, BOSCO SJPU Project briefed about BOSCO and its activities and SJPU project. Mr. Nandish RP, Member Secretary, District Legal Aid Authority and Civil Court Judge, Bengaluru spoke about the free legal aid for common man, legal rights, legal aid for women who are victims of violence, atrocities and dowry harassment and procedures for obtaining social entitlements. He also spoke about child rights and protection of children. Sixty-nine people attended the programme.
