Station Level Consultation Programme was organized by BOSCO Railway CHILDLINE Team for the Government Officials, Railway Officials and other stakeholders were held at the Second Entry Gate VIP Waiting Lounge, KSR Railway Station, Bengaluru, on February 28, 2020. The purpose of the consultation was to share the information about revised Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Station Level Fund, functions of Railway CHILDLINE and Programmes for Children in Contact with Railways (PCCRS). The program was started by the welcoming the guests by Mrs. Rashmi, Program Manager, CIF, Bengaluru. She presented the programs of PCCRS and APPI CHILDLINE.
Mr. Johnson Joseph, Coordinator, Railway CHILDLINE presented the one year data of Railway CHILDLINE, functions of Railway CHILDLINE, and the challenges of the programme. Mr. Pushpendar Kumar, Inspector, RPF shared the issues they faced during the rescue of children in railways. Mr. Chandrashekar, Member, CWC 2 explained the process and procedures of CWC. Mrs. Indira, CWC Member, CWC 1 spoke about the challenges. Mr. Raghuraman, Consultant, IRSDC, shared about BOSCO and its work and appreciated BOSCO for its yeoman services.
Ms. Nagarathna, DCPO, Bengaluru, appreciated the work of Railway CHILDINE. Mr. Siddlingayya, Superintendent, Government Boys Home, Mr. Srikanth, CMI, SBC, Mr. H Hanumanthayya, ASI, GRP, Mr. Ravi Kumar, SSE, SBC, Mr. Aslam Pasha, CTI, SBC, Mr. Shravan, SSE, RSDC, SBC and Mr. Sourab Jain, DCM, IRSDC were present for the Consultation. Vote of thanks was given by Mr. Johnson Joseph. Twenty-eight Government Officials and Railway Officials and other stakeholders were part of the consultation.
