Diwali was celebrated in the centres and areas of BOSCO on October 31, 2024 with great pomp and show. The celebrations began with a thorough cleaning of the centres to prepare for the Diwali celebrations. The children and youths eagerly took part in arranging the lamps and lighting them. They also helped the staff decorate  the place with hand-made decorative pieces, flowers and lights. The Directors of  the centres shared a short message emphasizing the importance of Diwali and encouraged everyone to spread light, just as the lamps do. They also spoke about the significance of festivals like Diwali in bringing people together. The celebrations continued with rangoli competition, dancing and singing and the firework display . The evening concluded with a festive dinner and distribution of sweets. All the children of the centres and areas took part in the celebrations.
