Essay Competition

BOSCO Nivas and CREAM Programme organized essay competitions for the school children and Child Rights Club (CRC) leaders at St. Rocks School and Nilaya centre respectively, on November 19, 2019. The competition was organized with the aim of making children aware of child related issues, child rights, child protection mechnaisms, CHILDLINE and Child helpline 1098. The essay topics included child marriage, importance of child rights, advantages and disadvantages of using mobile phones. The resource person briefed about the importance of observing Child Rights Week. The children took an oath on protecting their own rights as well as restoring the rights of other children. Around 40 children from St. Rocks School and 24 CRC Leaders took part in the essay competition.
