Eye Screening Camps

BOSCO Health Care Department in coordination with Shraddha Eye Clinic and The Eye Foundation  organized Eye Screening camps for the children and the community people at Rajiv Gandhi Colony, Shivajinagar and Yuvaspandana, JC Road January 12, 2025 respectively. Four people were referred for cataract surgery which would be done free of cost and seven were asked to use spectacles from Rajiv Gandhi Colony and eleven adults were referred for cataract follow up and ten children for further treatment from J C Road. A total of forty-seven adults from Rajiv Gandhi Colony and eighty adults and children from JC Road attended the camps.

An eye checkup camp was organized for the children of BOSCO Rainbow Home by the Optical Eye Foundation on January 14, 2025. One girl was diagnosed with cataract problem and eight girls were referred for further eye checkup. Fifty-one girls and six staff benefited from the camp.
