Eye Screening Camps Organized

BOSCO Health Care Department and Gandhi Nagar Team in collaboration with Shraddha Eye Care Trust conducted free eye check up and  cataract surgery camp at  Annamma colony for the children attending tuition classes and the community people on November 24, 2024. Dr. Vittal and Dr. Ajay conducted the camp. seven community members were referred for cataract surgery following the eye check-ups, twelve  community members were given reading glasses, forty community members underwent a general eye check-up and eight community members were  referred to eye hospital for further medical attention.  Fr. Varghese Pallipuram, Executive Director, BOSCO Bengaluru was present in the camp. A total of seventy-sic community people and children availed the services of the camp.

CSN Team and BOSCO Health Care Department organized an eye camp for the tuition children and GHPS children of  Veerabhadragudda on November 26, 2024. The camp was conducted by The Eye Foundation, Bengaluru. Four children were referred for further check up and treatment.  A total of hundred and twelve children, four parents and three school staff were benefited by the eye  camp.
