Feast of Don Bosco was celebrated at the various centers of BOSCO, in the presence of children/ youth from January 30 and 31 and February 1, 2021.
BOSCO Mane and Vikas organized the Feast of Don Bosco on January 30, 2021 in the presence of Mr. Joseph. N, HM, St. Joseph’s School, Chamarajpet, Bengaluru, Sr. Nirmala, Superior, St. Mary’s Community Convent, Bengaluru, Fr. Binny, Director, BOSCO Vikas and Fr. John MA, Director, BOSCO Mane. Children and Staff performed skit and dances. Around seventy children from Mane and Vikas participated in the programme.
BOSCO Sumanahalli celebrated the Feast on January 30, 2021. Fr. Prasad SDB, Director, BOSCO Life Skill Training Centre, Sumanahalli, spoke about the importance of celebrating the feast of Don Bosco and how important it is to live a life dedicated to the service of the underprivileged children and youth. Ms. Kavya, Sub Inspector, Kamakshipalya, Bengaluru encouraged the youth and staff to imitate Don Bosco and consider him as a role model. Ms. Pallavi, Sub Inspector, Kamakshipalya, Bengaluru was present on the occasion. Seventy youth of the centre and children of Devaraj Urs area and staff of BOSCO CHILDLINE and Sumanahalli attended the programme.
BOSCO Vatsalya Bhavan conducted the Feast of Don Bosco on January 30, 2021. Fr. Mathew Thomas, Executive Director, BOSCO, Bengaluru and Sheeba Thomas, Director In-Charge, BOSCO Vatsalya Bhavan were present. Children sang hymns, performed dances honoring St. Don Bosco. Around sixty children attended the program.
BOSCO Yuvodaya celebrated feast of St. John Bosco in the centre on January 30, 2021. The programme began with various party games for children. Later a formal inauguration was done by Fr. Mathew Thomas, Executive Director, BOSCO Bengaluru and Ms. Rashmi, Program Manager, CIF, Bengaluru. Ms. Rashmi appreciated the services of BOSCO towards children. Fr. Varghese Pallipuram, Director, BOSCO Yuvodaya spoke about the life story of St. John Bosco. Children exhibited their talents by way of dance, mime and songs. Prizes were distributed to all the children. Twenty-nine children participated in the event.
BOSCO Nilaya and Nivas organized the Feast of Don Bosco at BOSCO’s New Campus, Ramanna Garden, J.C.Road, Bengaluru on January 30, 2021. Fr. Regi Jacob, Director, BOSCO Nilaya and Nivas addressing the children, mentioned Don Bosco’s quotes and motivated children to grow as responsible citizens in life. Dr. J. Anand, Hon. President, Mr. Keshav, State President, Mr. Raja, State Vice-President, Mr. Muthu, Secretary, Bengaluru District, Karunada Dr. BR. Ambedkar Ahinda Sene and Mr.Prasanth Murthy, HR Manager, BOSCO Bengaluru were present on the occasion. Ninety-two children from Vinobhanagar, Cement Huts, YM Shala, Ramanna Garden, BOSCO Nilaya, BOSCO Nivas, Mackan Compound, Nehrupuram, Ambedkar huts tuition centres attended the feast.
The Feast of Don Bosco was celebrated by BOSCO Yuvakendra on January 31, 2021. Fr. CV George, Director, ARSP and SJPU projects, BOSCO Bengaluru and Silvy Lawrence, Director, BOSCO Yuvakendra graced the occasion. Youth put up cultural programmes. Bro. Lijo also performed on the occasion. Prizes were distributed for the events conducted during the month. Twenty-nine youth participated in the program.
BOSCO Rainbow Home celebrated the Feast of Don Bosco in the presence of Fr. John. MA, Director, BOSCO Rainbow Home on February 1, 2021. Cultural programmes were organized by the children. Around fifty-five girls attended the programme.
