Foster Care Trainings

 BOSCO Foster Care Programmes organized online and onsite Foster Care Trainings for stakeholders like Anganwadi teachers of Dodda Banaswadi and Devanahalli Aganwadi Centre, and SHG members of MRS Palya, Jayamahal Extension, Bengaluru during November, 2020. The purpose of these trainings was to make the stakeholders aware of the Foster Care programme so that they would disseminate the information to the community members which in turn would help in identifying the prospective foster parents and children. Mr. Shivamallu, Coordinator and Obalesh, Social Mobilizer, Foster Care Programme briefed about the procedure for applying in CARA Website (Adoption), and explained about BOSCO activities, JJ Act and Foster care procedures. Fifty-two Anganwadi Teachers and twenty-nine SHG members attended the training.
