Health Checkup at Hub Center

BOSCO Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) organized a Health Checkup for the Anganwadi children at the Hub Centre, Ramanna Garden, Bengaluru in coordination with BOSCO Health Care Department and St. Martha’s Hospital on February 24, 2020. Dr. S. Abraham and two intern doctors checked the eyes, ear, nose, throat, height, weight and general health of the children present in the Hub Centre Vitamin tablets were distributed to all children. Medicines as per prescriptions were given. Anganwadi teachers were updated about the same. Ill effects of milk substitutes and advantages of vegetable consumption were briefed to parents. Parents were guided as to how to take care of the children’s health. Ms. Surekha, AWC Supervisor, three Anganwadi Teachers and helpers were present during the camp. Forty-nine children of N.S. Garden and Ramanna Garden 1 and 2 availed the services of the camp.
