BOSCO Vikas and Mane observed the International Tiger Day along with the children of the centre on July 29, 2024. Mohana Mulepatlu, Naturalist, Kahna Reserve Forest, Madhya Pradesh addressed the children and highlighted the significance of tiger conservation and the international action to save these amazing animals. He spoke about tiger being the National Animal of India, its habitat, behaviour and food, and the alarming decline in the population of tigers both in India and worldwide. He also highlighted the role of Jim Corbett in safeguarding and nurturing tigers in India. As part of the event the children created and displayed their tiger themed artwork. There was a video presentation on Tigers. Eight-four children were a part of this event.
