Kannada Raiyosthava Celebration

BOSCO Yuvodaya and Nilaya centres celebrated Kannada Rajyotsava on November 1, 2019 at their respective centres with the children by hoisting the Kannada Flag. Kannada anthem was sung by all. Fr. Regi Jacob, Director, BOSCO Nilaya, addressing the gathering said, “This is the 64th Kannada Raiyosthava. This is a month long celebration. Let us contribute to the State by learning its culture and language”. Fr. Varghese Pallipuram, Director, BOSCO Yuvodaya and Karnataka Rakshana Vedike members spoke about the importance of the day to the children. Mr. Ramaswamy, Coordinator CREAM and ECCE Programmes motivated children to spread Kannada culture. Students delivered a speech in Kannada about the celebration. Children put up cultural programmes. Chocolates and sweets were distributed to all gathered. Around hundred and fifty children participated in the celebrations.
