Karate Belt Grading Exam

BOSCO Nilaya organized Karate Belt Grading Exam for the children of BOSCO Nilaya and Nivas on August 11, 2019 at BOSCO Life Skill Training Center, Summanahalli, Bengaluru.
Fr. Regi Jacob, Director BOSCO Nliaya and Nivas, addressing the gathering, appreciated the presence of the parents and emphasized on the importance of Self Defense and Protection. Mr. Syed Fawad Ullal, Sensei, WFSKO, motivated children to set a goal and work hard towards achieving it. Fr. Prasad, SDB, Director, CHILDLINE and BOSCO Sumanahalli spoke about the importance of self-protection. Belt distribution was done by dignitaries.
Ms. Sathya, Master Karan, Master Vinod, Ms. Soundarya from BOSCO Nilaya and Ms. Nimra Banu, Mackan Compound and Ms. Tejaswini, Nehrupuram received ‘Regular and Best Student’ award along with a memento for maximum attendance. Mr. Marlinga, Karate Instructor and his team of six instructors conducted the exam. Ms. Robina Farooq, Coordinator, BOSCO Nivas was present for the programme. Thirty-nine children from BOSCO Nilaya, BOSCO Nivas and J. C. Road areas took the exam. Two hundred children from other schools of Bengaluru also participated in the programme.
