Magistrate visits BOSCO, Bengaluru

Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (ACMM), Bengaluru, V Prakash, visited BOSCO Mane and Vatsalya Bhavan to know the functioning of the organization on August 10, 2019. Fr. Binny, Director, BOSCO Vikas, Fr. Prasad, Director, CHILDLINE and Fr. CV George, Director, SPJU and ARSP Projects, BOSCO Bengaluru, explained to him about BOSCO, its Vision and Mission, the various centres and programmes and the activities. He interacted with the inmates of BOSCO Mane, Vikas and Vatsalya Bhavan.
He asked the children about the difficulties they faced at home or on the streets before coming to the organization. Papaiah, Coordinator, BOSCO Vikas shared about some of the unique stories of children. Mr. PN Basavaraj, Coordinator, SJPU, BOSCO, the organizer of the event, welcomed the guest and proposed the vote of thanks. During his visit he met sixty-five boys from Mane and Vikas and seventy-one girls from Vatsalya Bhavan.
