Mothers’ Meetings Organized

ECCE, BOSCO organized Mothers’ meetings on the themes, ‘Health and Nutrition,’ ‘Early Childhood Education’, and ‘Adolescence,’ at Bhangi Colony, Chaluvadipalya and Velmurugapur Anganwadi Centers and Vinobha Nagar during October, 2019. Ms. Ravikumari, Cluster Coordinator, ECCE Programme, spoke about the importance of health and nutrition. Ms. Vinnarasi, Cluster Coordinator, ECCE Programme, spoke about the importance of early childhood education and child protection. Importance of monitoring children’s activities, child abuse, child marriage and child protection mechanisms were briefed.
Ms. Pushpa, Area Coordinator, BOSCO Nilaya, explained about the hormonal changes during adolescence and about the need to learn human values. Mothers were asked to monitor the day to day activities of children. Fifteen mothers from Bhangi Colony, fifteen mothers from Chaluvadipalya, fourteen mothers from Velmurugapur and thirteen mothers from Vinobha Nagar along with two Anganwadi Teachers and helpers participated in the meetings.
