National Youth Day

BOSCO Nivas and Yuvakendra commemorated National Youth Day in honour of Swami Vivekananda’s birth anniversary at their respective centres and at BBMP College, Shivaji Nagar, on January 12, 2026. The coordinators from BOSCO Nivas and BOSCO Yuvakendra highlighted the significance of the occasion, sharing inspiring stories from Swami Vivekananda’s childhood and his motivating quotes on youth. Staff members emphasized the importance of youth participation in today’s world and nation-building, while also stressing the need to uphold core values. They reiterated Swami Vivekananda’s belief that India’s future can be shaped by the hard work, education, dedication, and spiritual strength of its youth. His vision for youth empowerment, still highly relevant today, was conveyed to all attendees. The event was attended by all BBMP College students and around twenty-five boys from Yuvakendra, making it a memorable celebration.
