Open House Programme

On January 27, 2020 CHILDLINE Collab BOSCO Bengaluru organized an open house programme at Binny School Binnypete. Addressing the gathering, Fr. Prasad, Director, CHILDLINE Collab, BOSCO Bengaluru shared about Objectives and procedures of CHILDLINE and briefed about child rights. Mr. Ramanna Gowda, PSI, JJR Nagar Police Station expressed about importance of education and children should learn good habits. He also suggested children to have discipline, respect teachers and classmates. If the children study well, they would be able to become good officers in the future.
During the general discussion children shared about the various issues faced by them. Mr. Ramanna Gowda said that the police has already taken steps to maintain law and order in the area. Fr. Prasad and Mr. Ramanna Gowda provided group counselling to the children. Ms. Usha Nayak Coordinator CHILDLINE Collab, BOSCO Bengaluru, Mr. Ramachandra Headmaster, Binny school, Ms. Annapoorna Anganawadi teacher and 44 children participated in the Programme.
