Open House Programme

CHILDLINE Collab, BOSCO Bengaluru, organized open house at Govt. Model Tamil Primary School, Bhavani Nagar, Bengaluru on November 5, 2019. Fr. Prasad SDB, Director, CHILDLINE Collab, BOSCO Bengaluru, briefed about CHILDLINE, services provided and about the purpose of the open house. Mr. Manjunath, PSI, Banashankari Police Station said, “Education has utmost importance in a person’s life because it forms character.” Ms. Sunitha, Block Resource Person, South-1 exhorted the children to be regular to school and make use of the facilities provided by the government. Ms. Githa, Cluster Resource Person, South-1 spoke on the occasion.
Ms. Nagamani, Nodal Coordinator, CHILDLINE Bengaluru facilitated the discussion with children. During the interactive session, children mentioned about certain issues they face and the authorities present assured them that amicable solutions would be sought in a timely manner. CHILDLINE team, together with the officials from the Department of Education held a sperate discussion with all the teachers of the school regarding the matters mentioned by children. Ms Kamala, In Charge Headmistress, Mr. Sundar, President, SDMC, staff and over forty children participated in the programme.
