BOSCO Special Juvenile Police Unit (SJPU) Project organized an Open House Programme for the students and teachers of Sri Siddalingeshwara School, KP Agrahara Police Station Limits on September 19, 2024. The programme based on the theme, ‘Keep Me Safe, My Family, My Right’ focused on promoting the safety and well-being of children within their family environments. It aimed at raising awareness about the rights of children to be protected from violence , abuse, neglect, and exploitation, while also emphasizing the importance of a secure family setting. The team explained about the importance of reducing cases of domestic violence and child abuse and preventing child trafficking, labour or exploitation, by educating parents and caregivers about positive practices through the usage of posters, video on POSCO, etc. Ms. Sudha, Police Sub Inspector, KP Agrahara Police Station and Mr. Surendra S, Teacher, Sri Siddalingeshwara School were present in the programme. Thirty Students studying in 8th and 9th grades participated in the programme.
