Open house Programme at Arundhatinagar

HILDLINE Collab, BOSCO Bengaluru organized Open house programme at Govt. Higher Primary School, Arundhatinagar, Bengaluru, on September 13, 2019. Addressing the gathering, Fr. Prasad SDB, Director, CHILDLINE, BOSCO Bengaluru briefed about the aims and objectives of CHILDLINE, Child Rights and the purpose of the open house programme. Mr. Jayanna ASI, Chandra Layout Police station opined that every child should utilizes CHILDLINE Service whenever necessary.
Fr. Prasad, Director CHILDLINE facilitated the discussion with children. Children raised questions regarding child marriage and spoke about school dropouts. Fr. Prasad explained about Child marriage prohibition act 2006. Ms. Nirmaladevi Head mistress GHPS, Ms. Bhagya, former Head mistress GHPS, Ms. Kalamurthy, CRP, Ms. Sangeetha G and Ms. Jayashree, Anganawadi teachers, five teachers, and 140 students participated in the programme.
