Orientation Programme

First year MSW  Students from Bengaluru City University  visited BOSCO for an orientation on November 21, 2024. had visited BOSCO. Fr. Varghese Pallipuram Executive Director oriented the group on BOSCO, its activities, history of BOSCO, its vision and mission, programmes and projects.

The students were given an introduction about the Foster Care Project by Mr. Hanumantha Team Member, Foster Care Programme. Students clarified their doubts regarding projects, programmes, rescue operations, identification of children, difficulties in tracing parents and challenges in counseling. They showed interest in taking up their concurrent fieldwork in BOSCO. Students interacted with open shelter children and staff. Faculties of Bengaluru City University expressed to have an MOU with BOSCO Bengaluru and invited us for the campus recruitment.This orientation visit helped the students to choose their specialization during their MSW studies. Fifty students and two teaching faculties were a part of the orientation.
