Outing to Bannerghatta Biological Park

BOSCO Nilaya and Nivas organized an outing to Bannerghatta Biological Park, Bangalore under the auspices HDFC project, for the children attending tuition classes at BOSCO Nivas, BOSCO Nilaya, Ambedkar Huts, Mackan Compound, Nehrupuram, Rajgopal Garden, Anandpuram, Vyayam Shaala, Cement Huts, Ramanna Garden, Vinobhanagar on November 26, 2018.
Children visited the temple on the top of the Champakadhama hill. Children were exposed to the architecture of the temple and view of the Bengaluru city from atop the hill. They were taken for boating at the Kavalkere Lake behind at the Park. The children visited the Snake Lake and zoo. Fr. Regi Jacob, Director, BOSCO Nilaya and Nivas, addressing the children gathered said, “We are here for learning new things. I hope this day was fruitful and filled with lot of learnings.”
Children exhibited keen interest in knowing about the animals and birds in the park. Ninety-six Children from twelve tuition centers, Fr. Joshy, Principal, Don Bosco B.Ed. College, Yadgiri and BOSCO Staff including tuition teachers were present for the outing.
