Panel discussion on Foster Care Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)

 Panel discussion on Foster Care SOP was organized by ICPS Director via Google meet for the District DCPOs and CWC members on July 28, 2021. Ms. Pallavi, Director, ICPS Initiated the meeting. Ms. Sindhu Naik, Adoption Scrutiny, Karnataka State Council for Child Welfare, Bengaluru presented Foster Care concept in detail. Ms. Usha Kiran KT, Psychiatric Social Worker, Member of Foster Care State Guidelines, NIMHANS explained about the roles and responsibilities of different stake holders involved in the programme. Fr. Varghese Pallipuram, Executive Director, BOSCO Bengaluru enumerated the documents to be maintained by DCPU/ NGO necessary for the programme. 100 members attended the meeting.
