Parents BREADS, Bengaluru Visits BOSCO

BREADS, Bengaluru visited BOSCO, Bengaluru in order to monitor and facilitate the projects under its auspices, on July 30 and 31, 2019. During the two-day program, a four-member team headed by Fr. Joy Nedumparambil, SDB, Executive Director, BREADS conducted evaluations of all major projects supported by the agency. The team visited Kengeri Railway Station under Adjacent Railway Street Presence (ARSP) Project, schools and tuition centres under CREAM Project and a Group Foster care project. Fr. Joy also met the counsellors of BOSCO and discussed various factors that influence children to leave their home and land on the streets of Bengaluru and the major challenges they face while counselling children.
The Directors and staff of BOSCO shared their experience in the field, success stories, challenges and their valuable suggestions to reach out to more vulnerable children.
