Parents’ Meetings

BOSCO Rainbow Home organized a parent’s meeting at the centre on July 21, 2024. Mrs. Sara, Social Mobilizer briefed the objective of the meeting. Ms. Majula Ullal, Coordinator, Rainbow Home Foundation explained about Rainbow Home program and the support provided for children’s education. She explained the importance of education and how it leads to the success of an individual. The meeting helped to create a better understanding between parents and staff. Parents were encouraged to appreciate children’s participation in all activities. Parental care inputs were given to each parent to provide their children a better future. Twenty-six parents attended the meeting.
BOSCO Nivas met with the parents of children attending tuition classes at Ambedkar on July 24, 2024. The team guided the mothers on the parenting skills, understanding and accepting them as they are, encouraging and motivating them to pursue their goals, being role models, having mutual respect, being responsive and interactive, and caring for their health and education. The parents were made aware of the social entitlements like the Aadhaar Card, Ration Cars, Voter ID, Pan Card they need to possess. Twenty-two mothers attended the meeting.
BOSCO Yuvakendra organized a meeting with the parents of the children attending tuition classes at the centre on July 30, 2024. Ms. Geethamala, Counselor gave a brief introduction regarding the purpose of the meeting. The parents were told to approach the centre for any support in case of necessity.It was an interactive session between the staff of the centre, the children, and the parents. Parents were happy to see improvement in their children’s academic performance and self-confidence. Fifteen parents attended the meeting.
