A meeting of the parents of the children restored to their families and those in after care was organized at BOSCO Rainbow Home and BOSCO Sumanahalli at their respective centres on October 18 and 19, 2025 with the aim of strengthening family bonds and encouraging positive parenting. The meeting was graced by the presence of Fr. Varghese Pallipuram, Executive Director of BOSCO Bengaluru, who spoke on the theme “Uphold Our Hopes and Unfold Our Dreams,” emphasizing the importance of nurturing children with love, patience, and understanding. Fr. Varghese Pallipuram also highlighted how parents are the first teachers and role models for their children, and their involvement plays a key role in shaping the child’s future. After his session, parents actively participated in an open discussion, sharing their experiences, challenges, and suggestions. Nutrition kits were distributed to the children. Around forty parents were present in the meetings.

BOSCO Nivas held a meeting with the parents of children at the study centre in Nehrupuram on October 16, 2025. The team provided information on parenting skills, social entitlements, the role of parents, the importance of mutual respect, and how to have proactive conversations with children. The counsellor at Nivas would assist them in obtaining Aadhar cards, PAN cards, ID cards, and ration cards. Twelve mothers attended the meeting.
