Police Sensitization Programme

Special Juvenile Police Unit (SJPU), BOSCO, Bengaluru organized a sensitization programme for the Police Personnel of Chamarajpet Police Station, Bengaluru on February 24, 2021. Basavaraju PN, Coordinator, SJPU, BOSCO, Bengaluru explained in detail about child protection, child rights, JJ Act 2015, POSCO Act, child marriage, child beggary, child abuse, child trafficking and children in conflict with law. He also explained about the creation of child friendly police stations and about the existence of District Legal Aid Authority and its benefits to the common man. Gopal Krishna, PSI, Chamarajpet Police Station, West Division, Bengaluru was present in the programme. Thirty Police Personnel participated in the sensitization programme.
