Prevention of Child Marriage

CHILDLINE Collab, BOSCO Bengaluru organized awareness programme on Child Marriage at different areas of Bengaluru. CHILDLINE team identified 4 areas and decided to give awareness. Vijayanagar, Magadi Road, Agrahara Dasarahalli, Kamaksipalya, were the areas identified. The team visited twelve Marriage halls, met the officials and gave awareness about the prohibition of child marriage. Posters were pasted at the marriage halls. In some marriage halls marriage functions were going on. The team distributed CHILDLINE pamphlets and informed report violation of child rights to CHILDLINE 1098.
